Acupressure

Acupressure is an ancient healing technique originated in China approximately 4000 years ago.

Acupressure works on the philosophy of the traditional Chinese medicine that a life-force or energy (known as Qi /”Chi”) is constantly flowing along the body through channels (Meridians). When these channels become blocked or there’s an imbalance, it’s believed that it can result in fatigue or illness in corresponding organs.

Acupressure consists of pressing specific points in an attempt to help the free flow of energy in the channel(s). Acupressure is similar to acupuncture, but the person uses their fingers instead of needles to work the point.

Acupressure can be applied as a self-healing complementary technique. Nowadays is mostly used to manage acute pain, headache, nausea, insomnia and constipation.

During the Mehana Gift program dated on November 23-29, 2022 you will have an excellent opportunity to be introduced in the acupressure technique within the “Inner Strength” session led by doctor Filip Burget.
